New students arriving at College Station often need assistance during their initial stay regarding issues such as finding a housing or a ride from the airport. As a result, we have provided the follwoing form for prospective students to fill, so we can understand their needs and hopefully find other students who can help them:

What's New

• Addition of a Forum
• A place to discuss what was usually discussed during general meetings and were forgotton afterwards :)
• Features a similar user interface to that of standard forums on the internet
• Posting to forum requires Login
• Create topics, post replies, etc.
• Login through your TAMU NetID*
• No registration hassle
• Just login with your NetID as usual
• Addition of a Wiki where people can share what they know about various issues such as:
• General information on best practices on various matters relevant to PSA community
• Information such as where to look for housing, certain regulations, etc.
• It is not meant to act as a parallell source to those which are already available from TAMU
• Like the Stories and post comments under them using your Facebook account

*Note that during NetID login, your account password is not passed through our pages, instead we only receive from the TAMU Servers whether you are a legitimate user or not and your NetID, similar to how paypal works for payments on websites.

• A database of previous PSA aggies LinkedIn accounts useful for networking purposes
• A means for small communities of about 10 people who engage in various activities such as group movie watching, playing poker, or performing religious practices, to present themselves through their own page and contents here.

Known Shortcomings

• For those who follow PSA events, it is our goal to integrate Facebook events and our Google Calendar, however this is currently not possible due to insufficient Facebook support for integration.
• The same goes for integrating our current Picasa photo album and the Facebook photos which might prove confusing later.
